This policy describes how GH SERVICOS DIGITAIS LTDA (“we”) handles information for the Controller Dopamine iPhone app (on the US App Store as “Control Dopamine: Screen Time”) and for this website, controllerdopamine.com.

Who we are

Controller Dopamine is published by GH SERVICOS DIGITAIS LTDA, Rua Rio Grande do Norte 1436, Savassi, Belo Horizonte - MG, 30130-138, Brazil. Public contact is Gabe Hale at [email protected].

This website

The site is static. It does not offer accounts, and it does not set analytics cookies. If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list from that email.

The company that hosts the site may keep ordinary server logs — for example IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to keep the site secure and available. We do not use those logs to build advertising profiles. When the site is on Cloudflare or Vercel, that company’s own processing also applies to the request.

The iPhone app

Controller Dopamine is built so the record of your habits stays on your iPhone: activities, brain credits, streaks, challenge progress, and the apps you choose to block. You do not create an account with us.

The app does not show third-party advertisements. Blocking uses Apple’s Screen Time permission, which you grant on the device. We do not keep an account that stores a readable list of the apps you blocked.

Subscriptions and Apple

Paid plans are in-app purchases billed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple processes the charge under the Apple Media Services Terms. Subscription status is tied to your Apple ID.

The US App Store lists these guide prices: ControlDopamine Pro Weekly at $6.99, ControlDopamine Pro Monthly at $14.99, ControlDopamine Pro Yearly at $49.99, and an Annual Welcome Offer at $14.99 for eligible purchases. What Apple’s privacy label says

Apple publishes a privacy label supplied by the developer. Apple does not independently verify it. For this app, that label indicates:

• Purchases and identifiers may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, in Apple’s sense of “tracking.”
• Purchases and a device identifier may be linked to you and used for the developer’s own advertising or marketing.
• Diagnostic data (such as crash logs and performance data) and usage data may be collected and are not linked to your identity.

Those categories can leave the device even though the habit journal itself is stored on the iPhone. We do not sell personal information. If this policy and the live App Store label ever differ, trust the label and any in-app notice until this page is revised.

Children

The App Store age rating shown for the app is 4+. We do not run a children’s account on this website. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should be the person who reviews and buys a subscription. If you believe we have received personal information directly from a child under 13, email us and we will delete it.

How long information stays

• On-device habit data stays on your iPhone until you delete it or delete the app. We cannot reach that copy for you.
• Emails are kept long enough to handle the request, then deleted or filed with ordinary business records.
• Host logs follow the host’s retention, usually a limited period.
• Purchase records are held by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Your requests

Depending on where you live, including under Brazil’s LGPD and US state privacy laws, you may have rights to confirm, access, correct, or delete personal information we actually hold, and to appeal a refusal. Email [email protected]. We will not treat you worse for asking. A lot of the app’s data is on your phone, where deleting the app removes that copy.

We are a company in Brazil. The US website is written for people in the United States. If you use the app in another country, Apple may process purchase data in the places Apple operates, and our host processes the request that loads this site.

Security

No storage or email channel is perfectly secure. Keeping the habit record on the device limits how much we hold. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers by email. We will never ask for them.

Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the date at the top. If a change matters to how the app behaves, we will also say so in the app or on the App Store listing when that is the right place.
